Devoted partners Pat (Lin-Lin Li) and Angie (Patra Au) have shared a lifetime of love & routine at their cozy Hong Kong apartment for nearly 30 years. They host boisterous family meals, are referred to affectionately as “aunties,” and their lives exemplify contentment and stability. They enjoy a tight-knit community of friends that look after each other, finding joy in the small, shared moments of daily life. However, after Pat’s unexpected death, Angie struggles to retain her dignity and finds herself at the mercy of Pat’s family as she learns deeper truths about family, commitment and aging.
