Ghost is a romantic fantasy thriller starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg. The film follows Sam Wheat, a New York banker living happily with his girlfriend Molly Jensen. After Sam is killed during what appears to be a random mugging, he discovers that he remains on Earth as a ghost, unable to touch or be seen, but increasingly aware that his death was no accident.
As Sam watches over Molly, he realizes she is in danger from the same conspiracy that led to his murder. His only chance to warn her comes through Oda Mae Brown, a flamboyant and initially fraudulent psychic who is shocked to learn she can genuinely hear Sam. Through Oda Mae, Sam uncovers a plot involving betrayal, corruption, and stolen money, while racing against time to protect Molly and bring the truth to light.
At its core, Ghost is a story about enduring love, justice, and letting go, culminating in Sam finding peace as he ensures Molly’s safety and finally moves on to the afterlife. With Tony Goldwyn.
